The Country Director of Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Madam Glynnis, on Wednesday presented a check valued at US$5,000 to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP). The donation is intended to support the Liberia Julu Ta Interim Care Centre, which provides critical care and protection for vulnerable children in the country.
During the brief ceremony, Madam Glynnis expressed her pleasure in making the donation and reaffirmed CRS’s commitment to the welfare of children in Liberia. She also noted that CRS looks forward to exploring further opportunities for collaboration with the Ministry.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Ministry, Hon. Garmai Tokpah, Deputy Minister for Children and Social Protection, commended Madam Glynnis and CRS for the generous contribution. She emphasized the importance of such partnerships in strengthening child protection efforts and expressed optimism about future collaboration between the Ministry and CRS.
