The Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection, in collaboration with its partners, is set to host a one-day panel discussion focused on “Access to Justice” as part of the ongoing 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The event, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, aims to strengthen efforts to ensure that survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) receive the justice and support they deserve.
The panel discussion will bring together a diverse range of stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Gender, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, the Liberia National Bar Association, civil society organizations, and the Liberia Sex Crimes Unit. These key actors will engage in meaningful dialogue, addressing the barriers that hinder survivors’ access to justice and identifying solutions to strengthen Liberia’s response to GBV.
The gathering will take place at the Ballroom at the EJS Ministerial Complex beginning at 10am.
