A delegation from Partners In Health (PIH) paid a courtesy call on Hon. Gbeme Horace-Kollie, Liberia’s Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the Ministry’s head office in Congo Town. The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and PIH in advancing health, gender, and social protection initiatives for vulnerable population.
During the visit, the delegation briefed the Minister on ongoing and upcoming PIH programs, highlighting efforts to improve health awareness for adolescent girls, expand access to quality healthcare in underserved communities, and support programs aimed at empowering women and girls.
Minister Horace-Kollie welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and social protection interventions. She emphasized the importance of partnerships in achieving national development goals and ensuring that health and social protection initiatives reach those most in need.
