Spotlight 2.0 Steering Committee Meets To Approve Operational Workplan

On Tuesday, October 28, the Steering Committee of the Spotlight 2.0 convened at the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection under the leadership of Minister Gbeme Horace‑Kollie. The meeting brought together development partners, including the United Nations team, the European Union in Liberia, Sweden, the Women Legislative Caucus, civil-society actors and key line ministries to review and approve the operational work-plan for the next phase of the initiative.

The Spotlight 2.0 partnership between the Government of Liberia, the European Union, and the United Nations is committed to eradicating violence against women and girls in Liberia. The gathering served as a platform to deepen coordination, refine strategies, and reaffirm the shared commitment of all stakeholders to foster a safer and more equitable environment for women and girls across the nation.
