The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, in partnership with UNICEF, the Child Protection Network of Liberia, and the Liberia National Children’s Representative Forum, conclude a two-day brainstorming gathering focused on identifying gaps in the Children’s Law of 2011, considering present-day realities, for possible amendment.
The educative gathering brought together various child protection actors and stakeholders to discuss ways to strengthen the legal framework for the protection and welfare of children in Liberia. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Gender’s offices in Congo Town.
