
In Guie Town, Klay District, Bomi County, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP) Component 1b Community Mobilization & Citizen Engagement, continued its stakeholder engagement and consultation to hear feedback from local leadership on project implementation.
The dialogue aimed to strengthen implementation by identifying gaps, addressing concerns, and improving coordination to prevent challenges that may hinder project delivery.
A total of 83 participants were engaged, 56 women and 27 men, maintaining strong women’s participation in line with LWEP’s gender inclusion targets and the Government of Liberia’s women’s empowerment agenda.
This engagement contributes to Pillar 4 (Rule of Law & Governance) of the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development and advances SDG 5 on Gender Equality, reinforcing accountability, participation, and inclusive governance.
Through continuous consultations across districts, the Ministry Of Gender, Children And Social Protection-Liberia demonstrates transparent leadership and strengthens accountability in LWEP implementation.
