Ministry of Gender Strengthens School Club Engagement in Zai Town

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP), through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP), continues to promote accountability and youth engagement in schools.

During a monitoring visit to Gborho Elementary, Junior and Senior High School in Zai Town, Cavalla Education District. Joseph T. N. Chellah ActionAid Liberia’s Beneficiary Feedback Mechanism and Community Engagement Officer for Grand Gedeh, conducted an awareness session on the Grievance Redress and Complaint Mechanism (GRC/GRM) reporting pathways.

The session brought together 4 active club members and their mentor out of 7 registered members, with the mentor reporting that 3 members have dropped out. The visit also followed up on support provided to 10 targeted club members who received school materials and school fee payments.

The Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection continues to strengthen transparency, accountability, and feedback systems for beneficiaries.
