Ministry Of Gender, Children and Social Protection

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, with support from UN Women Liberia, convened the National Post-CSW70 Dialogue, bringing together government, civil society, and development partners to turn global commitments into national action.

The 70th Commission on the Status of Women adopted historic Agreed Conclusions on ensuring access to justice for all women and girls. Building on Liberia’s strong participation, the dialogue provided a platform to unpack these Agreed Conclusions, align on a National Post-CSW70 Action Plan, and emphasize the importance of cascading these commitments through county-level dialogues to ensure they translate into tangible results for women and girls across the country.

The post CSW70 dialogue was addressed by Deputy Minister of Gender Hon. Laura Golakeh and UN Women Deputy Country Director Ms. Yemi Falayajo, both recognising Liberia’s strong voice at CSW70 and the urgency of translating those commitments into results for women and girls across our counties.
