Blackton Rises Strong for LWEP Co-Creation.

Blackton Community in Careysburg District, Rural Montserrado, came out in strong numbers to support the ongoing Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP) co-creation process.

Led by the Ministry Of Gender, Children And Social Protection-Liberia , the engagement brought together more than 500 participants, including women, youth, local leaders, and community stakeholders.

The people of Blackton actively shared their views, identified community needs, contributed ideas, and helped shape how LWEP activities should be planned and implemented in their community.

Their strong participation reflects growing community ownership and commitment to advancing women’s empowerment, inclusion, and sustainable development through LWEP.

LWEP is a Government of Liberia project implemented by Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection
