
The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project, has delivered productive livelihood equipment to four women-led businesses in Todee District, Rural Montserrado County.
Through the LWEP Enterprise Support and Livelihoods Grants intervention, the beneficiaries received equipment to increase production, improve income, reduce losses, and support local economic growth.
In Veleyah Kolor Town, Mamie K. Koanjai of Mamie K. Koanjai Business Center and Marie Flomo of Marie Flomo Business Center each received a complete cassava milling package, including a cassava milling machine, hydraulic pressing jack, and drying pan.
Also in Veleyah Kolor Town, Weemih Y. Brisbane, CEO of Weel Farm Inc., received a pellet mill and pelletizer for chicken feed production.
In Zannah Town, Masue Dunor, CEO of Masue Business Center, received a solar deep chest freezer, two solar panels, two batteries, and accessories to improve storage and support business growth.
LWEP is a Government of Liberia project implemented by MGCSP with financing support from the World Bank. Through these grants, MGCSP remains committed to empowering women entrepreneurs with practical tools to grow their businesses, strengthen families, and build resilient communities.
