The Minister of Gender, Children & Social Protection, Hon. Williametta E. Saydee-Tarr, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, was greeted with an array of women leaders representing a cross section of women groups in River Gee County.
The women, in an hospitable manner, welcomed the Gender boss and presented several gifts as a form of gratitude to the ministry’s team for extending the #Caravan to their county.
In response, Minister Saydee-Tarr applauded the women, and therefore, reassured the Ministry’s commitment in achieving and promoting women’s agenda across the country.
Gender Boss encouraged women to rally the support for all women aspirants in the county.
She highlighted that her presence in River Gee County was to join ranks with others including local partners to raise awareness on women’s political participation as well as championing the rights of women in all aspects of their activities.
The Gender Minister was accompanied by Madam Elizabeth Sambolla, President, Liberia Marketing Association (LMA).
