MGCSP Champions Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership in Gbarpolu.

The Ministry Of Gender, Children And Social Protection-Liberia (MGCSP), through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP), continues to empower leaders across Gbarpolu County.

During a two-day Gender-Responsive Budgeting workshop, 93 stakeholders (52 men and 41 women) enhanced their knowledge and skills in inclusive leadership, gender-responsive planning, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) prevention, and community engagement, contributing to stronger institutions and a more equitable Liberia.

The workshop brought together county-level representatives from the Ministries of Education, Health, Justice, Labour, and Agriculture, alongside other key stakeholders including Rural Women, Youth, Teacher, and County officers, to strengthen their understanding of gender-responsive approaches and enhance coordinated implementation of the Liberia Women Empowerment Project.

Together, MGCSP is building a new generation of leaders who will champion equality, strengthen community participation, and ensure that no woman, man, girl, or boy is left behind on Liberia’s journey toward inclusive and sustainable development.
