The Ministry Of Gender, Children And Social Protection-Liberia (MGCSP), the implementing partner of the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP), has convened the Independent Proposal Evaluation and Approval Committee (IPEAC) to review 151 women-led business proposals. The process will be completed tomorrow the 2nd of April, 2026.
The proposals come from Gbarpolu, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, and Montserrado Counties under the Economic Support & Livelihood Grants (ESLG) component 3 of the project.
Through this transparent and merit-based evaluation process, MGCSP continues to promote accountability, fairness, and economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs across Liberia.
The grants aim to support:
Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs)
Individual Enterprises (IEs)
Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs)
Together, these efforts are strengthening women’s economic empowerment and resilient livelihoods in communities.
With financial support from the World Bank, MGCSP is helping transform the future for thousands of women across Liberia.
