The Ministry Of Gender, Children And Social Protection-Liberia (MGCSP), through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP), continues to strengthen community engagement and accountability in Grand Cape Mount County.
From March 30 – April 2, 2026, the Beneficiary Feedback Mechanism and Gender Officers engaged residents in eight communities across Tawor and Garwula Districts. They raised awareness , and created understanding about the project Component 1b on community mobilization and citizen engagement.
Community members were sensitized on the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) and the proper use of Grievance Redress Committee (GRC) boxes, empowering them to safely report concerns and provide feedback.
The engagements encouraged active participation, with grievances received and formally escalated through the GRM system, demonstrating growing community awareness, trust, and participation in the LWEP process.
