Minister Gbeme Horace-Kollie Participates in West Africa Women’s Political Leadership Forum in Abuja.

Abuja, Nigeria – July 30, 2026:Minister of Gender Children and Social Protection Hon.Gbeme Horace-Kollie, is participating in the West Africa Women’s Political Leadership Forum in Abuja, Nigeria, joining senior government officials, regional institutions, women leaders, and development partners to advance women’s political participation and leadership across West Africa.

Convened by the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) in partnership with UNDP, ECOWAS, and other partners, the forum seeks to accelerate the implementation of concrete reforms that promote gender parity in political representation and strengthen women’s leadership in governance.

Minister Horace-Kollie’s participation highlights Liberia’s commitment to promoting inclusive governance, supporting regional efforts to increase women’s representation in decision-making, and contributing to the development of the Abuja Regional Action Agenda, which will guide collective action toward achieving gender parity across West Africa.
