July 30, 2026 ordered Dismissal
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
This is to announce to the general public that, Mr. Caycee Nelson, Procurement Director, and a staff of the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection has been dismissed with immediate effect.
This decision follows formal confirmation of his indictment regarding his connection with the $317 million drug bust that was discovered by the Liberian Government on the RIA Highway.
Furthermore, these actions violate his employment status and brings significant disrepute to the reputation and integrity of the Ministry. He is required to immediately hand over all Ministry assets in his possession, including but not limited to Ministry’s issued laptops, access keys and all documents. All access to the Ministry’s premises, networks, emails and databases has been revoked immediately.
