The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project, continues its stakeholders’ engagement and consultation meetings in five districts of Grand Cape Mount County, and Six districts in River Cess County. These meetings started today and will climax by the 15th of May 2026.
In Garwula District, Grand Cape Mount County, the meeting brought together over 90 local leaders, women, youth, community representatives, and key stakeholders to strengthen awareness, promote ownership, and ensure that communities fully understand the goals and benefits of LWEP.
Through these consultations, the Ministry is reinforcing transparency, accountability, and inclusive participation as the project works to empower women, girls, families, and communities.
Together, we are building stronger communities where women lead, voices are heard, and development reaches everyone.
