The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP) has officially launched a two-day Leadership Development Training for SASA! Leaders across the six Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP) counties. The training is designed to strengthen leadership skills, promote community ownership, and equip local leaders to drive positive change within their communities.
Throughout the training, participants will deepen their understanding of the qualities of effective leadership, conflict resolution, and community engagement. They will also learn practical approaches to raising awareness about peaceful coexistence, promoting gender equality, and reinforcing positive social norms that help prevent violence and foster inclusive communities.
By empowering SASA! Leaders with the knowledge and skills to lead effectively, the Ministry continues to strengthen community-based leadership and support sustainable development, ensuring that local leaders play an active role in building safer, stronger, and more resilient communities across Liberia.
