Together, we are making a meaningful impact across Liberia by supporting women-led enterprises through the provision of livelihood cash grants in four of the six project counties under the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP). This investment is enabling women entrepreneurs to strengthen and expand their businesses, increase household incomes, and build more secure and sustainable livelihoods. By empowering women economically, the project is helping to create stronger families, stimulate local economies, and promote inclusive community development.
Today, we celebrate the resilience, determination, and success of these inspiring women whose businesses continue to grow through this support. As their enterprises flourish, they are better able to provide for their families, invest in their communities, and inspire others to pursue economic independence. Their progress reflects the transformative impact of empowering women with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to advancing women’s economic empowerment across Liberia.
