MGCSP Leads the Charge: Empowering Community Voices Across Six Counties.

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection, through the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP), has convened a dynamic two-day capacity-building training for 75 Community-Based Agents (CBAs) across six project counties: Montserrado, Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Gbarpolu, Grand Gedeh, and River Cess.

Facilitated by ActionAid Liberia under Component 1b: Community Engagement and Citizen Participation, the training is equipping frontline agents with the skills and tools needed to deliver timely, accurate, and community-centered project information.

By strengthening real-time information sharing, the initiative reinforces a two-way communication system, ensuring communities are not only informed but actively engaged in shaping the project. The training concludes tomorrow, with structured follow-up mechanisms set to sustain engagement and accountability at the grassroots level.

Led by MGCSP, this initiative reaffirms LWEP’s commitment to building informed, empowered communities where every voice counts and drives inclusive, sustainable change.
