News Update: LWEP Field Monitoring Strengthens Implementation in Bomi County.

The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MGCSP) Joint Field Monitoring Team has concluded a comprehensive implementation assessment of the Liberia Women Empowerment Project (LWEP) in Bomi County, reinforcing the Ministry’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and effective service delivery.

The exercise involved direct engagement with project beneficiaries and key stakeholders across multiple communities, providing an opportunity to evaluate progress made under the project, document achievements, and identify areas requiring further support.

Communities across the county’s administrative districts, including Senjeh, Tehr, and Klay, actively participated in the discussions. Beneficiaries shared experiences on how LWEP interventions are improving livelihoods, strengthening women-led enterprises, and promoting community-based economic empowerment.

The monitoring team emphasized collaboration with local stakeholders as a key factor in ensuring sustainable outcomes and effective implementation of project activities.
